Milton-Freewater Oregon is a multi-cultural community located in the northeast corner of the state within ten miles of Walla Walla Washington. The Milton-Freewater Unified School District is now taking applications for the following position:
The Milton-Freewater Unified School District will have two (2) Assistant Principal Jobs open for the school year 2018-19. One position will be at our new Kindergarten through Third grade Elementary School (Gib Olinger), and the other position will be at our Middle School (Central) for our 6-8th grade students.
Assistant Principal (2)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A current Oregon State Administrator’s License or the ability to obtain one by July 1, 2018.
- Demonstrated successful teaching experience.
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Working knowledge of PBIS, RTI, ELL, and Special Education programs.
- Experience with Conscious Discipline beneficial.
- Experience being highly successful and effective with diverse staff and student populations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated successful administrative experience.
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish/English.
- Experience in the evaluation of teaching staff.
- Willing to relocate to Milton-Freewater.
COMPENSATION:
Position starts July1, 2018. Salary range is $80,000 and up (depending on level of experience and education), plus benefits.
Screening and review of candidates will begin on February 12, 2018.
